Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases and a return to Alert Level 4, we will be taking a break from Monday and Tuesday night rehearsals for all groups. Regular rehearsals/programming can only safely resume with a return to the Alert Level/Safety Regulations that we started with at the beginning of the season.

We are so very thankful that we were able to make music together this past fall and hope to be back together very soon!

We are back! Registration is now open for the 2021/22 year of CBS Band!

You can register online now, or in person at first rehearsal:

September 27 (Monday) – Queen Elizabeth Regional High School
Beginner Band 5:45 – 6:45 pm.
Elementary Band 6:45 – 7:45 pm.
Junior Band 7:45 – 8:45 pm.

September 28 (Tuesday) – Queen Elizabeth Regional High School
Concert Band 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
Jazz Band 9:00 – 9:45 pm.

With the current physical distancing restrictions due to COVID-19, commencement of our 2020-21 season is delayed until further notice.

We hope for our rehearsals and concerts to resume as soon as possible, while ensuring everyone stays safe. Please check this site (or our Facebook page) regularly for further updates!

With the continued cancellation of large gatherings expected to last well into the summer and potentially this fall, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the end of our 2019/20 season.

We hope for our rehearsals and concerts to resume this coming fall, knowing that when we are together again the magic that is CBS Band will be greater than ever!

In an effort to contain the potential community spread of the COVID-19 virus, the NLESD has suspended the use of their facilities by outside groups. Therefore, rehearsals for all CBS Band groups will be cancelled until further notice.

The Concert Band performance scheduled for March 28th at the Geo Centre will be postponed until a later date.

The Concert Band performance at the Sci-Fi on the Rock convention scheduled for April 19th has also been postponed indefinitely.

Now a Christmas tradition! The CBS Band is Comin’ to Town for a night of fabulous live music, a delicious 3-course turkey dinner, and festive raffles!

Doors open at 7pm and dinner will be served at 7:45pm.
